and life-skills were regularly inculcated in various
competitions. The following activities were conducted:
-
Extempore
Speech- The school conducted extempore speech competition
during the month of September. Through the programme the
students were given a platform to show their out-of-the-box
thinking. They also got an opportunity to express their
feeling freely. The topics covered were: believe in
yourself, saying no politely, if I were forced to smoke,
selfishness financing drugs, negative aspects of the media,
lost values. The programme was given a touch of excitement
and vigour by involvement of students who served the role of
spectators during the programme. All through the programme
the teacher extended a helping hand and supported the
students wholeheartedly. The judges also gave valuable tips
on how to improve our skills in the art of extempore speech.
By the end of the programme we were acquainted with various
aspects related to growth and development of adolescents.

many witty slogans and when they get a channel to express
it, their creativity flows freely. The slogans were written
on social causes, social awareness, consumer awareness, etc.
